Fythol Dad, diolchwn iti am ryfeddod y Cread, am rodd bywyd y ddynoliaeth ac am fendith cymdeithas a chymundeb; diolchwn i ti am Grist, dy Air bywiol, yr hwn yn ei fuchedd a ddysg inni frenhiniaeth gostyngeiddrwydd; diolchwn i ti am dy Lân Ysbryd, sy’n methrin ynom ffrwyth cariad, llawenydd a thangnefedd. Amen.

Diocesan & County Service of Prayer and Thanksgiving before the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and Queen
It was good to welcome His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwynedd to the Cathedral last Sunday evening at our Service of Prayer and Thanksgiving before the Coronation. Our thanks go to all those, especially our musicians, who contributed to such a happy service, which can be watched again on our YouTube channel.
Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for the wonder of creation, for the gift of human life and for the blessing of human fellowship; for Christ, your living Word, through whom we are taught the perfect way of life and the royalty of service; and for your Spirit, who brings forth the fruit of love, joy and peace. By your grace may we use your abundant gifts for the common good, for the life of our nation, and to the glory of your name; through the same, Jesus Christ, our Risen Saviour. Amen.

The Cathedral Chapter (clergy and lay people from the Cathedral community, the wider diocese and beyond who act as trustees of the Cathedral) meet electronically this week, ahead of their in-person meeting and our second Congregational Meeting of the year later in the summer.
