Receiving a parcel

There are a few steps you need to take to receive a parcel.

  1. If you have a support worker, contact them and ask them to give you a referral.
  2. Your support worker sends us a referral by email to this address: lesley.beckton@yahoo.co.uk
  3. Collect your food from us in person at Tŷ Deiniol, or ask your support worker to collect it for you.

If you don't have a support worker, contact any of the agencies below (by phone or email) and ask them to give you a referral.

If you can't contact any of the agencies, just come to the food bank during opening hours. We can give you a small emergency food parcel (2 days worth of food). Please note: We can only give out two emergency parcels: after that you will need a referral.

You can receive a referral form through:

Your GP, Health Visitor, District Nurse, School Nurse, Community Psychiatric Nurse or other health professional
Your local councillor
College/University Tutor or Welfare Officer
Church clergy

A referral tells us your name, address, family situation and why you need a food parcel. You will need a new referral for each time you come to the food bank.

Please write 'Foodbank' on the back of any cheques

We are especially grateful for regular donations made by standing order.
