Comisiynu Sam Jones
Hyfryd oedd comisiynu Sam Jones fel Arweinydd Addoliad yn y Gosber ar Gân nos Sul diwethaf. Bydd Sam yn gweithredu fel Ail-Gantor yn y Gosber ar nos Fercher, yn canu’r ymbiliau soniarus ac yn arwain ein gweddïau. Gallwch wylio'r Comisiynu yn ystod y Gosber ar YouTube fan hyn.
Cyfarfod Cynulledifaol
Cynhelir ein Cyfarfod Cynulleidfaol nesaf wedi'r Gosber ar Gân, am 6.30pm, nos Iau yma 26 Hydref.

Cymun dros yr Holl Eneidiau
Rhowch y Cymun Bendigaid ar Gân Dros y Meirw, am 6.00pm nos Sul 5 Tachwedd, a fydd yn Goffadwriaeth yr Holl Eneidiau, yn eich dyddiaduron. Caiff y Cymun ei gynnig dros yr holl ffyddloniaid ymadawedig; bydd unigolion yn cael eu cofio yn ôl eu henw yn ystod yr ymbiliau. Ychwanegwch enwau at y rhestr yng nghefn Corff yr Eglwys.
Sul y Cofio
Rhowch y Cymun Bendigaid ar Gân Dros Ar Sul y Cofio 12 Tachwedd, caiff gwasanaethau Cymun corawl eu disodli gan Wasanaeth Coffa Dinesig am 10.00am, pan fydd yr Archesgob yn pregethu, ac a fydd yn diweddu wrth y Gofeb.
Bedydd Esgob
Caiff sagrafen Bedydd Esgob ei gweinidogaethu yng Ngwylnos y Pasg a Chymun Cyntaf y Pasg am 6pm ar 30 Mawrth 2024. Os hoffech chi archwilio’r posibilrwydd o gael eich Cadarnhau drwy Fedydd Esgob, siaradwch ag aelod o dîm y Gadeirlan.
Cinio Dewch a Rhannu
Cynhelir ein dau Ginio Dewch a Rhannu nesaf am 12.15pm, yn dilyn y Choral Holy Eucharist, ar 29 Hydref ac 17 Rhagfyr. Mae’n Cinio Dewch a Rhannu yn gyfle am sgwrs, difyrrwch, croeso a charedigrwydd. Gwahoddir pawb; ac os hoffech awgrymiadau am fwyd i’w ddwyn, siaradwch â Canon Jane Coutts.

Yn dilyn y datganiad poblogaidd yn 2022 mae ein Sopranos yn y Gadeirlan yn dychwelyd i ganu unawdau a pherfformiadau ensemble. Bydd Alice Caldwell, Hannah Copner, Sarah Jones a Katherine Rawlings-Smith yn dwyn arddull unigryw ac ddehongliadau ffres i weithiau cyfarwydd.

This Sunday and the week ahead...


Commissioning Sam Jones
It was wonderful to Commission Sam Jones as a Worship Leader at Choral Evensong last Sunday evening. Sam will act as Succentor at Evensong on Wednesdays, cantering the responsorial intercessions and leading our prayers. You can watch the Commissioning during Evensong on YouTube here.
Congregational Meeting
Our next Congregational Meeting takes place after Choral Evensong, at 6.30pm, this Thursday 26 October 2023.

Requiem for All Souls
Please make every effort to be present at the Choral Holy Eucharist of Requiem, at 6.00pm on Sunday 5 November, when we will mark the Commemoration of All Souls. The Eucharist will be offered for all the faithful departed; individuals will be remembered by name during the intercessions. Please add names to the list at the back of the Nave.
Remembrance Sunday
On Remembrance Sunday 12 November, our choral Eucharist services are replaced by a 10.00am Civic Remembrance Service, at which the Archbishop will preach, and which will conclude at the War Memorial.
Confirmation
The sacrament of Confirmation will be ministered at the Easter Vigil & First Eucharist of Easter at 6pm on 30 March 2024. If you would like to explore the possibility of being Confirmed, please speak to a member of the Cathedral team.
Bring and Share Lunch
Our next Bring & Share Lunches will take place at 12.15pm, following the Choral Holy Eucharists on 29 October and 17 December. Our Bring & Share Lunches are an opportunity for conversation, conviviality, welcome and kindness. All are invited; and if you would like suggestions about food to bring, please speak to Canon Jane Coutts.
