Tarannon
Gŵyl Cred a’r Celfyddydau
Ysgrifenna’r Is-Ddeon:
Bu’n gŵyl fach ni yma yn y Gadeirlan dros y dyddiau diwethaf yn destun llawenydd ac anogaeth fawr i mi. Nid yn unig y rhannwyd llawer o wybodaeth mewn darlithoedd a thrafodaethau; llawer o brydferthwch a gwirionedd mewn barddoniaeth, celfyddyd a chân; llawer o garedigrwydd a lletygarwch mewn sgwrs ac ymddiddan – ond daeth cymaint o’r hyn a gynigiwyd i’r amlwg fel mynegiant o’n bywyd ar y cyd yn y lle hwn, ac o’r bobl ddawnus iawn sy’n rhan o’n cymuned leol ac estynedig yn y Gadeirlan. Mwynhewch, da chi, y recordiadau YouTube o bopeth a gynigiwyd os nad oeddech yn gallu ymuno â ni wyneb yn wyneb. Rydym wedi dibynnu ar haelioni, caredigrwydd a gwaith caled cymaint o bobl o bob cwr o deulu’n Cadeirlan i sicrhau Tarannon lwyddiannus, ac rwy’n ddiolchgar iawn i bob un ohonynt.

Cymun dros yr Holl Eneidiau
Cynhelir ein Cymun Bendigaid ar Gân dros yr Holl Eneidiau eleni am 6.00pm nos Sul 5 Tachwedd. Gellir gosod enwau’r ymadawedig ar y ddalen yn y ddarllenfa yng nghefn y Gadeirlan.
Canon Mark Oakley
Mae’n Canon Lyfrgellydd yn rhannu gyda ni y newyddion am ddarlith yng Nghadeirlan Caer nos Fawrth yma 17 Hydref am 7.00pm gan y darlledwr, pregethwr a Darpar Ddeon Cadeirlan Southwark, Canon Mark Oakley. Ei destun yw “Barddoniaeth: Iaith Frodorol Ffydd”. Gellir prynu tocynnau o wefan Cadeirlan Caer.
Cinio Dewch a Rhannu
Cynhelir ein dau Ginio Dewch a Rhannu nesaf am 12.15pm, yn dilyn y Choral Holy Eucharist, ar 29 Hydref ac 17 Rhagfyr. Mae’n Cinio Dewch a Rhannu yn gyfle am sgwrs, difyrrwch, croeso a charedigrwydd. Gwahoddir pawb; ac os hoffech awgrymiadau am fwyd i’w ddwyn, siaradwch â Canon Jane Coutts.

Tarannon
A Festival of Religion and the Arts
The Sub-Dean writes:
Our little festival here at the Cathedral over the past few days has been a source of great joy and encouragement for me. Not only was much knowledge imparted in lectures and disussion; much beauty and truth displayed in poetry, art and song; much kindness and hosspitality shown in conversation and conviviality – but such a great deal of what was offered emerged from our own common life in this place, and from the very gifted people who are part of our local and extended community at the Cathedral. Do, please, enjoy the YouTube recordings of all that was offered if you were unable to join us in person. We have depended on the generosity, kindness and hard work of so many people from across our Cathedral family to make a success of things at Tarannon, to all of whom I am very grateful.

Requiem for All Souls
Our Choral Holy Eucharist of Requiem for All Souls takes place this year at 6.00pm on Sunday 5 November. Names of the departed can be placed on the sheet at the lectern at the back of the Cathedral.
