Y Parchg Josie Godfrey
Hyfryd yw croesawu i’n plith y penwythnos hwn ein Is-Ganon newydd, y Parchg Josie Godfrey, a ordeiniwyd gan yr Archesgob y penwythnos hwn yn y Gadeirlan. Bydd y Fam Josie yn dod yn wyneb cyfarwydd yn y Gadeirlan ac Eglwys y Groes wrth iddi wasanaethu ei churadiaeth tair blynedd gyda ni. Bydd y Canon Tracy Jones yn cymryd yr awenau fel goruchwyliwr y Fam Josie yn ystod y blynyddoedd ffurfiannol hyn. Cyflwynwch eich hun i’r Fam Josie, a rhowch groeso iddi yma.
Cyd-Bererinion Cadeirlan Deiniol Sant ym Mangor
Da oedd manteisio ar y cyfle a gafwyd gan Sul Gwaddol Ganol Haf yr wythnos diwethaf i lansio Cyd-Bererinion Cadeirlan Deiniol Sant. Mae llyfryn am y Cyd-Bererinion ar gael yn y Gadeirlan, ac arlein yma. Mynnwch gopi, a rhannwch newydd am y Cyd-Bererinion gyda’ch ffrindiau a’r rhai a allai ddymuno cefnogi ein bywyd ar y cyd yma yn y Gadeirlan.
Sul Gwaddol Ganol Haf
Mae’n diolch yn fawr i bawb a helpodd i wneud ein Sul Gwaddol Ganol Haf y penwythnos diwethaf yn ddiwrnod mor llawen. Roedd y cyfuniad o addoli, lletygarwch a cherddoriaeth yn arddangos llawer o’r hyn sy’n ein gwneud yn gymuned lewyrchus yma yn y Gadeirlan ac ym Mro Deiniol.
Ambiwlans St John Cymru
Diolch i bawb a gyfrannodd at apêl codi arian yr wythnos ddiwethaf, ac a gododd dros £250 i gefnogi gwaith Ambiwlans St John Cymru.

This Sunday and the week ahead...
The Revd Josie Godfrey
It is wonderful to welcome into our midst this weekend our new Minor Canon, the Revd Josie Godfrey, ordained by the Archbishop this weekend at the Cathedral. Mother Josie will become a familiar face at the Cathedral and Eglwys y Groes as she serves her three-year curacy with us. Canon Tracy Jones will be taking the lead as Mother Josie’s supervisor during these formative years. Please introduce youself to Mother Josie, and do make her welcome here.
The Pilgrim-Friends of Saint Deiniol’s Cathedral in Bangor
It was good to take the opportunity afforded by last week’s Midsummer Foundation Sunday to launch the Pilgrim-Friends of Saint Deiniol’s Cathedral. A brochure about the Pilgrim-Friends is available at the Cathedral and online here. Please take one away with you, and share news of the Pilgrim-Friends with your friends and those who may wish to support our common life here at the Cathedral.
Midsummer Foundation Sunday
Thanks are due to all who helped to make last weekend’s Mid-Summer Foundation Sunday such a joyful day. The combinaiton of worship, hospitality and music-making showed much of what makes us a flourishing community here at the Cathedral and in Bro Deiniol.
St John Ambulance Cymru
Our thanks to all who contributed to last week’s fundraising appeal, which raised over £250 to support the work of St John Ambulance Cymru.
