Diolch

Mae ein dyled yn fawr i bawb a fydd yn cyfrannu at ein dathliadau dros y dyddiau nesaf, ac a fu eisioes yn gymorth inni wrth gadw Adfent sanctaidd a gwyliadwrus yn ystod mis Rhagfyr. Mae cyfraniad y Côr wedi bod yn neilltuol, gan ategu gwaith trefnwyr blodau, gweision bwrdd yr allor, stiwardiaid, croesawyr, clerigion cynorthwyol ac aelodau o tîm gweinidogaeth. Diolch o galon i bawb.

Maes parcio

Thanks

We owe a huge debt of thanks to all who will contribute to our celebrations over coming days, and who have already played their part in our keeping of a holy and watchful Advent during December. The contribution of the Choir has been notable, sitting alongside the work of flower arrangers, altar-table servers, stewards, welcomers, assisting clergy and members of the ministry team. Our heartfelt thanks to all.

Car park

Cathedral weekday car parking permits for 2022 will be available from the Cathedral team at Sunday services from 9 January 2022. A donation is requested. In the meantime, no permits are required for parking in the Cathedral car park at any time; and no permits will be required to park on Sundays until further notice.

A Ceremony of Holiness

Epiphany Lessons and Carols by Candlelight
Sunday 9 January
5.30pm

The last of our three traditional, atmospheric and musically-rich ceremonies on a Sunday evening during the Christmas period. This bilingual, candle-lit ceremony will invite us to attend to the holiness that we see in Christ, and that we are called to nurture in our hearts. The ceremony is free to attend, with donations invited towards our Christmas Appeal.

Buchedd Bangor

The new magazine of Saint Deiniol’s Cathedral in Bangor

This first edition is a companion to the period from Advent Sunday (28 November) until the end of Christmastide on Candlemas Day (30 January). It offers a mixture of devotional material and practical knowledge about our life together.

Click on the image above to read a copy.

The intention is to publish five issues of Buchedd Bangor over the course of the year, each coinciding with a specific period in the Cathedral’s worshipping life, and complementing a series of Sunday morning sermons that will guide us through each period.
