New piano
We were fortunate recently to be able to purchase a new piano at a discounted price.
Made by Bechstein in 1878 and restored over the past few weeks by the local company, Pianos Company, it offers us a high quality instrument for our recitals, worship and wider musical events.
The piano will be blessed at the end of the service on Sunday.
Holy God, who through your servant Moses commanded that trumpets be made to be sounded over the sacrifices offered to your name, who through the children of Israel willed that your praise be sung with harps and cymbals, whom choirs of angels join together to offer their lays, and whom galaxies hymn by the quietude of their celestial movement; that our music in this temple may rise more worthily to your majesty, W bless this piano; may its music offer unto us glimpses of your beauty, and be for us a foretaste of that your heaven where there shall be neither noise nor silence, but the one equal music of your glory; through the one seated with you on the throne of honour, even Jesus Christ our Ascended Saviour. Amen.
Vivat Regina!

My Place
Saturday 18 June at 7.30pm
“My Place” is a dramatic production by Riding Lights Theatre Company that explores the journeys of four young people with no place to call home.

The remarkable journeys of these lively, resourceful children unfold through story and song, asking us to consider what place we might have in their lives.
Tickets are available online here or from Naomi for £10.
