Gwasanaethau Arbennig
Fel eglwys ddinesig Dinas Bangor, mam eglwys Esgobaeth Bangor a sedd bresennol Archesgob Cymru, mae'r Gadeirlan yn cynnal llawer o wasanaethau arbennig i nodi digwyddiadau cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol pwysig, yn ogystal â gwasanaethau Esgobaethol a Thaleithiol megis fel ordeinio offeiriaid a chysegru esgobion.
Bydd manylion gwasanaethau unigol yn cael eu cyhoeddi yn yr adran Digwyddiadau o'r wefan
Cymunau Misol dros y Meirw
Rydym yn cynnal gwasanaeth coffa misol arbennig dros bawb sydd wedi marw yn yr Esgobaeth a thu hwnt nos Fercher am 5:30pm. Mae'r gwasanaeth hwn ar ffurf Cymun Bendigaid ond gyda cherddoriaeth ychwanegol sy'n gosod testunau traddodiadol y Requiem, gan gynnwys gosodiadau enwog gan Gabriel Fauré, Maurice Duruflé a John Rutter.
Os hoffech ychwanegu enw anwylyd at y Llyfr Siantri (sy'n dal enwau pawb i'w cofio bob mis), defnyddiwch ffurf yn yr adran Cysylltu neu ysgrifennwch ei enw (a dyddiad ymadawiad) ar y ddalen ar y ddarllenfa yn y pen gorllewin Corff yr Eglwys, os gwelwch yn dda.
Special Services
As the civic church of the City of Bangor, the mother church of the Diocese of Bangor and the current seat of the Archbishop of Wales, the Cathedral hosts many special services marking important national and international events as well as Diocesan and Provincial services such as the ordination of priests and the consecration of bishops.
Details of individual services will be posted in the Events section of the website.
Monthly Requiem Eucharists
We hold a special monthly service of remembrance for all those who have died in the Diocese and beyond on a Wednesday evening at 5:30pm. This service takes the form of a Holy Eucharist but with the additional of extra music setting the traditional Requiem texts, including the famous settings by Gabriel Fauré, Maurice Duruflé and John Rutter.
If you wish to add the name of a loved one to the Chantry book (which holds the names of all those to be remembered each month) please use the form in the Contact section or write their name (and date of departing) on the sheet on the lectern at the West end of the Nave.
