Fflam Heddwch y Byd yn dod â neges o obaith i Gadeirlan Bangor

Y tymor Nadolig hwn, mae cyfle unigryw i ymwelwyr â Chadeirlan Bangor i fyfyrio ar heddwch yng ngŵydd Fflam Heddwch y Byd, symbol pwerus o undod a gobaith byd-eang.

Mae arwyddocâd arbennig i Fflam Heddwch y Byd yng Ngogledd Cymru, gan fod ei chartref parhaol yn Snowdonia Mountain Lodge ger Bethesda. Wedi'i chreu'n wreiddiol ym 1999 pan unwyd saith fflam o bum cyfandir ym Mangor, mae'r fflam dragwyddol hon bellach wedi teithio i bob gwlad yn y byd ac wedi ysbrydoli mentrau heddwch yn fyd-eang.

Wrth i Gristnogion ddathlu geni Iesu Grist, Tywysog Tangnefedd, mae presenoldeb Fflam Heddwch y Byd yn cynnig cyfle ystyrlon ar gyfer gweddi a myfyrdod.

Mae'r gadeirlan yn croesawu ymwelwyr i ddod a phrofi'r symbol hwn o heddwch, sydd yng Nghadeirlan Bangor yr wythnos yn dechrau 16 Rhagfyr.

Mae'r fflam, sy'n cynrychioli undod ar draws cymunedau a chredoau amrywiol, yn ein hatgoffa o neges y Nadolig o heddwch ar y ddaear ac ewyllys da i bawb.

Gall ymwelwyr weld Fflam Heddwch y Byd yng Nghadeirlan Bangor drwy gydol yr wythnos hon yn ystod oriau agor arferol y gadeirlan.

World Peace Flame brings message of hope to Bangor Cathedral

This Christmas season, visitors to Bangor Cathedral have a unique opportunity to reflect on peace in the presence of the World Peace Flame, a powerful symbol of global unity and hope.

The World Peace Flame has particular significance for North Wales, as its permanent home is at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge near Bethesda. Originally created in 1999 when seven flames from five continents were united in Bangor, this eternal flame has since traveled to every country in the world and inspired peace initiatives globally.

As Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, the presence of the World Peace Flame offers a meaningful opportunity for prayer and reflection.

The cathedral welcomes visitors to come and experience this symbol of peace, which is at Bangor Cathedral w/c 16 December.

The flame, which represents unity across diverse communities and faiths, serves as a reminder of the Christmas message of peace on earth and goodwill to all.

Visitors can view the World Peace Flame at Bangor Cathedral throughout this week during regular cathedral opening hours.
